Cellular Networks

We work on Cellular Standards, and an academic member of 3GPP, and maintain strong relations with the Industry.

Our students played significant role in the development of research 5G network at TAMU Rellis.


mmWave Networks

Our work addressed the most important problem: Beam Management. mmWave networks communicate use narrow beams, therefore user mobility and blockage impacts the link

mmWave Testbed

User mobility requires continually switching of beams and to avoid outage during blockage,  Non-Line of Sight path communication is a must

We developed minimalist beam management algorithms for mmWave Systems.  Our protocols are implemented on 60 GHz Software defined radios of National Instruments
